Graduate Student Assembly Speaks

Motions passed by the Graduate Student Assembly of the University of Texas on March 6, 1996. Unanimously.

  • Resolved, That the Graduate Student Assembly supports the free discussion and exchange of ideas at the University, and rejects efforts to limit the academic pursuits of faculty and graduate students.
  • Resolved, That the Graduate Student Assembly disapproves of the naming of the molecular biology building after James Robert and Louise Moffett, and asks the Board of Regents of the UT- System to consider an alternative name.
